Free Admission Last updated: Aug 1 , 2010 The academy hosted its 15th Anniversary Celebration & Master Gu's Birthday Dinner on July 24th, 2010, with more than seventy students in attendance. Master Gu gave a seminar on "The Tranquility, Steadiness, Smoothness, Balance, and Relaxedness of Tai Chi Chuan" and presented a Push Hands demonstration. Mr. Lam Wei Chung was the Master of Ceremony. Karaoke was a popular activity among many students, including Mr. Ryan Leung. As the fourth generation descendant of Wu's Style Tai Chi, Master Gu presented the history of this artform and recalled the fifteen years of the academy's establishment. On that night, students prepared a birthday present and a cake for Master Gu, who, in return, donated prizes for the lucky draws and distributed a not-for-sale third generation Tai Chi Chuan poster to every student. The students enjoyed the gathering, and took photos in commemoration of the dinner.

In the three-hour show,senior instruction, Mr Lam Wei Chung, was the Master of Ceremony for the party. Karoake was a popular activity among many students, including senior instruction,Mr. Ryan Leung. More than forty prizes were distributed during the lucky draw, which created a great vibe and atmosphere. The dinner was a success, in which a total of eighty students attended. Last updated: Nov 18 , 2009 The annual Tai Chi Seminar was held on November 1st, 2009. Master Gu gave a speech on the development and formation of Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan, the brief history on Master Song Shu-Ming and his renowed classical theory of Tai Chi Chuan, and the relationship between Master Song and Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan. Master Gu also demonstrated the round form, small form, and fast form of Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan during the seminar. The course, "Song Shu Ming's Tai Chi 37 Forms Sparring", is currently being offered every Monday night. All students are welcomed to attend. Please contact Master Gu at 604 512 9678 for more details.
